Mini League Softball (Ages 6-8)

The Monroe Mini League Softball is a league for girls between the ages of 6 and 8.  Players who are age 6 that would like to participate in this league should have played one year of tee-ball or request an evaluation by the league managers to determine eligibility. The league gives these girls an opportunity to develop their fundamentals and play competitive softball.  The Monroe teams play against themselves and teams from Trumbull and Stratford.  A certain number of games will be played in Trumbull and Stratford. It is a coach pitch league for a majority of the season.   Girls are encouraged to learn how to pitch with the opportunity to try out their pitching skills during a game near the end of the season.  At the end of the season, there is an oppurtunity for U8 All-Star team to be selected and play against other teams in Fairfield County.  This is a good league for your daughter to learn by playing all of the softball positions and develop her skills and love for the game. The cost for registering in this league is $125 per player.

Minor League Softball (Ages 8-10)
